This project presents an LPG gas monitoring and automatic cylinder booking system with an integrated alert mechanism, designed using Arduino Nano and various sensors and modules to enhance safety and convenience in households. The system utilizes an MQ2 gas sensor to detect LPG leakage, a load cell to monitor the weight of the gas cylinder for estimating remaining gas levels, and a flame sensor to detect any accidental fire. The DHT11 sensor tracks ambient temperature and humidity, while a DC fan and relay are activated to disperse leaked gas and power safety mechanisms. In case of leakage or low gas levels, the system automatically triggers a buzzer for local alert and sends an SMS notification using the SIM800L GSM module to the user and LPG provider for automatic cylinder booking. An LCD display provides real-time information on gas level, temperature, and system status. This smart system enhances home safety by preventing gas-related accidents and ensuring timely cylinder replacement through IoT-enabled automation.
