BEST IEEE PROJECT CENTER IN CHENNAI
This project presents an IoT-enabled smart ambulance system equipped with a rescue and emergency medical support framework aimed at improving pre-hospital care and reducing response time in critical situations. The system integrates multiple sensors—including a heart rate sensor to monitor the patient's pulse, a MEMS sensor for accident and tilt detection, an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle avoidance, an alcohol sensor to ensure driver sobriety, a temperature sensor for monitoring patient vitals, and an eye blink sensor to detect driver drowsiness. Actuators such as relays and DC motors manage critical rescue operations and medical support mechanisms. The inclusion of GSM and GPS modules allows real-time tracking and communication with nearby hospitals, while an LCD displays live health parameters and system status. A buzzer is used for immediate alerts in emergencies, and all components communicate efficiently via the I2C protocol. This smart ambulance system is designed to offer real-time monitoring, rapid response, and improved coordination with medical facilities, ultimately aiming to save lives through intelligent automation and connectivity
